This is the LAST piece of cladding!
It's November, 1989 and it's snowing!
The photo below shows the slater and I topping out the house by adding the chimney pot in the summer of 1990.
During this year we had laid the flooring, built all the internal partition walls and plaster-boarded these and the ceilings as well as installing the electrics and the plumbing so that we were able to move in on September 26th.
The interior wasn't finished and I built cupboards in the living room and kitchen and tiled the kitchen floor over the next three months.
We had carpeting put down and spent our first Christmas at Redhall in December '90.
We had made it!
